Affiliate Disclosure
How we make money, and how it does — and doesn't — affect what we recommend.
Last updated: May 2026
The short version
Some links on SoloClientStack are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. We only recommend tools we'd genuinely use or have used. Our editorial process is not for sale.
FTC compliance
SoloClientStack participates in affiliate marketing programs. In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines (16 CFR Part 255), we disclose whenever content includes affiliate links or sponsored placements.
This disclosure applies to all pages on soloclientstack.com and any associated email newsletters.
What this means practically
- When you click a link labeled with "(affiliate link)" or similar, and complete a purchase or signup, we may receive a commission from the company.
- The price you pay is identical whether you use our link or navigate to the site directly. Affiliate commissions are paid by the company, not added to your cost.
- We do not accept payment to change or inflate reviews. If a tool is not good, we say so.
- We regularly include tools in our stacks that have no affiliate program because they're the right tool for the job.
Programs we participate in
We may earn commissions from the following programs, among others. This list is updated periodically:
- HubSpot Partner Program
- Notion Affiliate Program
- Kit (ConvertKit) Affiliate Program
- Systeme.io Affiliate Program
- Make (formerly Integromat) Affiliate Program
- Zapier Affiliate Program
- Calendly Affiliate Program
- Semrush Affiliate Program
- Beehiiv Partner Program
How we choose what to recommend
Every tool that appears in a SoloClientStack OS or review goes through the same evaluation:
- Does it solve a specific, named workflow problem for solo service businesses?
- Is the pricing reasonable relative to the ROI it produces?
- Would we recommend it to a friend billing $5K–$20K/month?
- What does it not do well — and who should skip it?
Affiliate commission rates do not factor into these evaluations. A tool with a 60% recurring commission gets the same scrutiny as one with no program at all.
